100 Companies to compete for Entrepreneurship World Cup Finals

Organizers announced that at the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) Finals, 100 startups will compete for a share of US$1 million worldwide. 

At Biban 2023, the world cup finals will take place from 9-12 March 2023. For small-to-medium-sized enterprisers from Saudia Arabia, this event is going to be one of the biggest events for them. 

In Saudia Arabia, the Entrepreneurship World Cup was co-hosted by the small and medium enterprises General Authority and Global Entrepreneurship. One of the most multifarious and biggest pitch contests is ‘Monsha’at’, it supports all the upcoming founders’ programs. Entrepreneurs vie for a share in a cash prize of US$1 million and millions more valuable publicity, investments, and support. 

Entrepreneurship World Cup was launched in 2019 and since its launch, over 200 countries EWCs have enticed enrollment from more than 400,000. In cash prizes over US$3, EWC has interconnected founders with some other beneficial services, perks and free support is US$256 million. 

Jonathan Ortmans, president of the Global Entrepreneurship Network said, “These companies and their founders have wowed us at every stage of the competition, they are on course to change lives with innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.”  

In EWC, 100 members were selected after thriving in the final qualifier sports and matches worldwide. The top 250 functioning groups were invited to the Entrepreneurship World Cup to participate in their three days boot camp, whereas 100 were set to the list at the Global Finals. 

The Entrepreneurship World Cup is located in  Asia, the Middle East, Africa, North America, Europe, the Caribbean, Oceania, and South America. 

While in Riyadh- Saudia Arabia’s startup setting 100 of EWC will partake in it. According to the 2021,2022, and 2023 reporting record highs in venture capital investments, in the present years, the ecosystem has brought a transformational shift. 

The Entrepreneurship World Cup was only achievable with the help of a collection of national and global partners including The Global Education and Leadership Foundation (GELF), One Valley, King Abdullah University for Science and Technology, Startup Genome, andEntrepreneurs’ Organization.
