Scholarship Duration:

  • Undergraduate: 4 Years
    The undergraduate scholarship is for four years and ensures students have the financial support they need to complete their bachelor’s degree. This enables a comprehensive academic experience that includes coursework, projects, and any additional research or practical components mandated by the program.
  • Master: 2 years
    The scholarship funds a two-year master’s degree program. This duration will cover most master’s programs, allowing students to concentrate on advanced studies and research without financial constraints. It supports both coursework and thesis-based master’s programs.
  • Ph.D.: 3 years.
    Ph.D. candidates receive a three-year scholarship. This period covers the critical stages of a doctoral program, such as coursework, research, and dissertation writing. In some cases, extensions may be available based on the research’s progress and requirements.


    Internship Support:
    Students who undertake internships during their bachelor’s degree program at the Australian National University (ANU) can also benefit from the scholarship. This financial support ensures that students have the necessary resources to gain practical experience in their field of study without additional financial burden. Internships provide valuable hands-on learning opportunities that complement academic coursework and enhance employability post-graduation.

For students who might not qualify for fully funded opportunities, ANU also provides partial funding options and regional discounts through the Chancellor’s International Scholarship. Eligibility criteria

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements for Graduate Scholarships in University Research Scholarships at ANU.

  • Applicants must be national or international students.
  • He received at least an H1 or H1 equivalent grade in his previous studies.
  • An excellent academic record.
  • Research potential, support from a potential supervisor, and the location of the investigation.
  • English Language Requirement: Candidates must prove they meet the Australian National University’s minimum English proficiency requirements.

Providing acceptable scores from English proficiency tests such as:

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS): A minimum overall score of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each component.
  • TOEFL iBT: A minimum overall score of 80, with at least 20 in reading and writing and 18 in speaking and listening.
  • Cambridge C1 Advanced: A minimum overall score of 176 with at least 169 in each component.
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: A minimum overall score of 64 with at least 55 in each communicative skill.

Selection
This award requires each ANU’s faculties to form a selection committee to score and rank ALL eligible H1 candidates (or equivalents) in a merit suit. The general classification considers the following:
