Alkhidmat Foundation Came Forward to Aid Turkey and Syria
Turkey and Syria were hit by a 7.8 magnitude disastrous earthquake, due to which almost 41,000+ people have lost their lives and the injured ratio is more than 83,800+. Whereas, thousands of people are still under the trash.
AKFP (Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan) representative meets H.E Enir Ozbay, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey, Lahore. The delegation conveyed their deep sorrow at the wretched loss of life and devastation across Türkiye. The Reputable Consul General Republic was also informed about Alkhidmat’s recent earthquake relief movements in Türkiye and Syria. A cheque of PKR 15 million was submitted to the Honorable Consul General as a gesture of support for earthquake victims.
Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is preparing 5,000 Tarpaulin Sheets (In-Kind) and 2,000 Shelters Tents to be sent to Turkey for the earthquake victims in collaboration with Turkish Airlines and Hayrat Aid Turkiye. The necessary documents should be completed by AKFP which include, an invoice, recommendation letter from the consulate & undertaking, and packing list. On 11 February 20203, the required documents will be completed, and the ceremony of handing over the documents will be scheduled in coordination with the Turkish Consulate in Lahore.

Abdus Shakoor is leading Alkhidmat relief efforts and is arranging collaboration with Turkish partner organizations since he landed in Turkiye after a devastating earthquake. Recently, Vice President Alkhidmat M. Abdus Shakoor and IHH Turkiye officials vow to continue collaborative relief efforts in quake-hit areas of Turkiye and Syria after a meeting held at the IHH office in Turkiye.”
Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan (SAR) Search and Rescue Team’s 47 members have departed for Turkey to take part in the ongoing Search and Rescue operation. The AKFP search and rescue team includes group members from the whole world. The search and Rescue team contains the latest tools. Under the command of AFAD Turkey, the mission will be operated.
Millions of people are sitting in the freezing cold under the open sky without any necessities. While the people who are victims of earthquakes are presently in an alarming state where their basic needs are to be fulfilled. The basic requirements for the victims include hot meals, shelter, and some other basic relief.
